Mage Job Tree
Mage Job Tree
At level 40 Monk (H) is an option, and at level 75 Inquirer (H) is an option, I however forgot them (Again) lol. Rune Master (E) is also an option at 105.

Number above the job is the level required to become that job.
E for Elf
H for Human

I will be looking forward to seeing that library! I just can't be satisfied with trying out a game without having read all there is to read about it before actually logging in the game.

Re: Mage Job Tree
Having just played a little on the MA server, it seems that character planners will be really useful for players so that they don't end up wasting SP and getting frustrated. Of course if respeccing is fairly easy then there shouldn't be a problem, but I have yet to see any mention of that feature.

Re: Mage Job Tree
I'm particularly interested in the Priest skill tree, really hard to find a written one, even on the SG server where I see numerous 50++ priests.
Anyone can post one yeah?

Re: Mage Job Tree
1-20 for mage is nothing, I did that on the SG server in 2 days, just gotta make sure you find a party for the party quests, which are fun in and of themselves. I love the mage class in general, it's very fun to use magic.

Tell me!

You should be able to do that in a few hours!
But I had no SP invested because I wanted to save it all to invest into my cleric
Took FOREVER

Not to burst your bubble or anything, but unless changes are made to the Gpotato's version on Luna Online, the exp curve keeps on drastically increasing like in most grinding MMORPGs.
The exp needed to reach lv 75 is 2.5x the exp needed to reach lv 65 to give you an idea.

Lol talking to myself at 3 in the morning... AGAIN!!!!
anyways, quick question for the mages:
following the mage>wiz>sorc>warlock path, which would be next? Soul Arbiter or Grand Master? just curious. anyways, how's everyone doing?

Re: Mage Job Tree
Well, a Soul Arbiter would be the continuation of Inquirer in 5th job.
If you follow the path of a spell caster all the way, I would probably suggest you to remain a long range spell caster by going for Grand Master. Also, you would benefit from the Boost Spell passive skill increasing your Magic Attack by 35%.
If you want to become a Soul Arbiter, I would suggest you to compare the skills between both Soul Arbiter and Grand Master and then, plan out how you would distribute your skill points. At this point in the game, maxing a skill could easily take up to 20-25% of your skill points at lv 105.

Re: Mage Job Tree
Hmm, can't decide between Saint or Arch Celebrant for my Elf. Is it just me or does there seem to be a trend of Humans = evil and Elfs = good xD ?

Retired from Luna, hanging IRL till FFXIV is out.

Re: Mage Job Tree
Well, it's a fact that every "Elf only" class are more supportive then the others while the "Human only" classes seem to be more selfish and focused on "killing".
Arch Celebrant is most likely to be the following class of Rune Master while Saint is probably what's after Cardinal.
If you are planning to go Full Support, then I would suggest you to become a Cardinal to obtain Shrewd Spell lv 5 (halves your casting time) since it's probably the best buff you can get due to the fact every skills are affected by that. Afterwards, unless Saint gains some crazy new buffs, Arch Celebrant could be better, since you will already have most of your buffs at lv 8 (while max might be 10?) so the extra effect won't be as big.
(That's how I see this... but do keep in mind that leveling gets much harder in the end and that 6th job hasn't even been released in the main version, so it won't be here anytime soon.)
